It’s been ages since I last sat down and jumbled several thoughts into a coherent one and the feeling sucks. 
It’s like the world kept turning and moving while I kept myself pegged in a very small hole, away from civilization. Of course I could make so many alibis for my inactivity in as much as writing is concerned but all would boil down to one – I just didn’t sit down and write!

A friend of mine once told me that if I wanted to do something, I should do it right away with no hesitation because time will surely fly and leave me either accomplishing something or nothing at all. To illustrate, he said that I could choose to enroll in a nursing school and find myself a nurse after four years or opt to remain in the house and find myself in the same house after the same number of years. He was right all along!
These thoughts brought to mind the things that I missed doing as a self-professed writer. 
Meanwhile, I think I am pardoned for being a lazy writer because I fulfilled a more important role – that of being a mom.
