On June 14 last year, Dave celebrated his 20th 
birthday in an airplane going to Singapore. This year, he hit his 21st 
on the road to Taal Volcano. Thus started a good “tradition” which Dave and I thought would be part of our family — a birthday travel.
A birthday travel, in our own context means a trip out of town done on the natal day of anyone in our family. It aims to widen our horizon through learning new things in an unknown soil. It also aims to renew and strengthen our relationship with each member of our family through quality bonding time together. :-)
More than these, a birthday travel is a time to thank God for the immeasurable blessing of life, good health and gift of family oneness.
